Certificate in Pharmacy (Pharmacy Technician - Advanced) (Level 5)

The Pharmacy industry is dynamic, exciting and there are many employment opportunities out there for qualified Pharmacy Technicians. Our Pharmacy Technician Programme offers practical learning on campus and will teach you all the necessary skills and pharmaceutical knowledge to start your career. It also includes work placement in one of the leading pharmacies in New Zealand.

• Applicants must be aged 18 or older. International students must be 18 years old or over

• Applicants should have an appropriate year 12-13 academic achievement, hold a complementary tertiary qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge.

• An academic IELTS score of 6 is required. IELTS 6.5 is highly recommended to be successful in the programme due to the high level of technical content in the programme; and an interview may be required.

• Domestic applicants will need to demonstrate sufficiency in English language or, where required, complete and pass a reading/writing placement test; and an interview may be required.

• International students must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.

• International students and Chemist Warehouse: Conditions apply around work visa restrictions.
