This qualification is designed to provide people with an entry point for bachelor’s degree study for those who do not have University Entrance. This programme introduces people to the knowledge of health and the human body, develops academic skills and attitudes, and supports future success in a degree-level study in the health fields.

In this course, you'll develop academic skills to further prepare you for a degree in Nursing, Midwifery or Health Science and gain deep understanding of health, physiology and how to care for people so you can make a difference to your community.
Applicants must have completed either a health related Level 3 qualification, or achieved NCEA level 2 or equivalent or successfully applied for Special Admission (if over 20 years old)
